The Grid Creator makes printable paper. Twenty-five types — dot grid, graph, lined, isometric, hexagon, handwriting practice, music staff, knitting charts and more — at any page size and any spacing, downloadable as PDF, PNG or SVG.

Everything happens in your browser

There is no server doing the work. The grid is drawn and the PDF is assembled by JavaScript running on your own machine, which means nothing you make is uploaded anywhere, the site works offline once loaded, and there is no queue, no account and no watermark.

Why the sizes are actually right

The PDFs are written as vector graphics in PDF points rather than being rendered to an image, so a 5 mm square is 5 mm to three decimal places. The remaining variable is your printer, which is why there is a calibration page — most printers quietly shrink pages by a couple of per cent, and on graph paper that matters.

Cost

Free, and intended to stay that way. The site is supported by advertising. If something is broken or a paper type is missing, that is worth knowing about.
